Queenscliff Beach. I learnt to swim in the rock pool,

Is there something about you that would surprise people?
I have been involved in every role at the QSLC. From head sausage sizzler right through to President and everything in between.

What’s something everyone should do at least once?
To have a beer at the Steyne.

On the balcony of QLSC enjoying the view/

If you were down to your last $50, what would you spend it on?
Catch the ferry into the city and have a beer at Manly Wharf on return.

How did 4 Retail happen?
I started out fitting shops. I was project managing but then moved into working for a large retail chain. 4 retail gave me the opportunity to do things better. QLSC: I started in Nippers and I have now been involved in the club for 30 years.

Best business experience?
Get yourself good mentors and stay connected to them.

If you weren’t doing this, what would you be doing?
Community is really important to me. So being involved in the community in some way shape or form.

Best part of your job or most enjoyable part of your job?
The people.

The people.

What’s the best part of working on the Northern Beaches?
The beautiful surroundings – you can’t beat the Northern Beaches!

Get involved and trust people.

Dinner with the kids and their partners on Sunday night.

My hole in one trophy.

Sitting on the beach with a great book.

Giannis Antetokounmpo – (Milwaukee Bucks Basketball Player) and Gary Susans, my brother.

What travel experiences are on your bucket list?
Six months in Europe with my wife.

How do you switch off?
Reading.

Anything sweet.

If you were an animal, what would you be?
A fish, or anything that can live in the water.

How would you like to be remembered?
As a good friend.

Exactly as me and living the same life knowing everything I do now.
