I’m really Irish (mum and dad both born in Ireland) however, I sound Scottish and I have 9 sisters.

What’s something everyone should do at least once?
Have a baby!!

Exercise or coffee with the kids

Coffee – to give me the energy to figure out what to do next.

How long have you been operating?
30 years, I actually had a very busy GP practise in Manly prior to specialising in obstetrics and gynaecology.

Setting up Manly Beach Babies

If you weren’t doing this, what would you be doing?
I thought about being a pilot.

Best part of your job or most enjoyable part of your job?
Delivering healthy babies and being part of a wonderful experience.

Most stressful part of your job?
Some babies have defects with bad outcomes.

Weirdest thing that has ever happened at work?
Telling a bemused couple they’re having triplets.

Why’d you chose to work here? Manly, best suburb in the best city in the best country on the planet.

Greatest strength? Persistence and time management.

Repeating myself.

Coffee with kids after a swim on balmy Manly Beach.
